I've been around on this earth for a little while and gathered a bit of experience here and there.

Careers

First career Naval Officer, second as lawyer.

Now working as a consultant, lawyer and manager in the hotel/ property development sector.

Occasionally called on by shipowners to assist them as an agent for the Vanuatu Maritime Registry.

HOBBIES

Hobbies include the Internet - love to dabble, surf and experiment - e-commerce - we run a couple of small e-commerce sites in our spare time, and my other blog www.mediagate.com.au - focuses on writing and my latest attempts at poetry- my kids are budding musicians so I am even going to try my hand at  songwriting.

Rugby - my favourite game, and my passion. Played, refereed, coached, managed, built websites, cooked the snags, sold the raffle tickets and cleaned out the dressing sheds,  and have generally been around the game in one form or another for most of my like. Mainly restricted now to commenting on the odd Rugby website, following my son as he enjoys his turn on the paddock, and following my beloved Brumbies. Recently, set up an e-commerce site, www.rugbygearonline.com.au and we are working with some overseas suppliers who supply beautifully made gear, so if we decide to add their soccer, or cricket gear, or any other sport, watch this space!

Writing - I enjoy it when I get the time and recently published my second book, which is a How To about International Trade - a yawn for some, but a must for others!

Family - happily married to Lillian,  with two hungry teenagers, and three grown up sons, who all bring joy and meaning to our lives. Just got one of them married off, recently and we have a beautiful grandson, with a massive twinkle in his eye, and I'm sure that when he learns to walk, will have a massive spring in his gait.
